Objects by Eight is a gallery-led design house working across Africa and the Middle East, presenting collectible design by independent artist designers and makers.

Spanning furniture, lighting, ceramics and art, OBE brings together works selected for their craftsmanship, material honesty and the quiet weight they bring to a space. Rooted in Dubai, the house is built from eighteen years across architecture, interiors and product design.

The house represents a growing roster of makers and world-renowned designers, connecting distinct creative perspectives through a considered approach to curation. Each piece offers an expression of its maker's identity, exploring the relationship between form, material and the way we live with objects.

We design and commission objects, not collections of furniture. Each piece is developed in close collaboration with master craftsmen, produced in limited numbers, and built to be lived with for decades, not seasons.

The name holds three meanings. Read plainly, it's objects made by Eight. As instruction, it's a command: O, be. As philosophy, OBE stands for Obsession Builds Everything.

The eight, turned on its side, becomes infinity, an idea that runs through the house's four guiding principles. These principles shape a collection where objects hold meaning, evoke connection and leave a lasting impression. Nothing leaves the studio half-considered.
